Dr Thiruchelvam brings over 25 years of construction and civil engineering expertise to Chelvaa Homes. Holding a PhD in Civil Engineering alongside a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, he combines academic rigour with extensive hands-on experience delivering complex housing and mixed-use developments.
His career spans senior roles with some of the UK’s leading housebuilders, including Berkeley Homes, Charles Church, and Gladedale Homes, where he managed multi-storey residential schemes from foundation to completion. As Project Director for a major development company, he secured planning consent for a 769-dwelling scheme in Dartford—demonstrating his ability to navigate complex projects from inception through to delivery.
